Fox Antiques and Clearances was started by proprietor Richard after noticing how many quality, used items ended up being tipped into landfill without a thought given to alternatives. We try to avoid items ending up in landfill by working with several Midlands based charities to help rehome household items, or where appropriate, selling them ourselves.
Obviously, you may wish to dispose of more than just simple household items, and this is where we can appraise anything potentially of value and thus tailor the clearance cost to allow for items we can sell ourselves. In fact, it is not uncommon for us to pay clients to take items away, if the value is greater than the cost of removing them!
